About The crew
My name is Rebecca Schuppert I am the owner of Pure Steam Tattoo. I love the complex nature of this art form and I love providing quality, custom tattoos in a wide range of styles for clients. I started my tattooing journey as an apprentice at Body Inks Tattoo which was located in Spartanburg, SC. In 2009 I graduated from my apprenticeship and started to work at Skin Grafix Tattoo in Easley where I was quickly promoted to shop manager. After working for approximately four years in South Carolina, I was looking to establish a special tattoo shop and to find a special city to call home and I found it in Asheville, NC. I am sure that you will love the unique setup of Pure Steam Tattoo which is a steampunk themed shop.
Beck Erskine has been tattooing since 2022 and has grown up in Asheville, NC not only is he an excellent
skateboarder but he also loves doing big freehand lettering, black and grey, and Chicano style of tattoos. We are very
excited to watch him grow as an artist and to see all the cool work he will produce at Pure Steam Tattoo!
